Job Summary:

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum Master’s degree in School, Child or Clinical Psychology; 
• Certification or eligibility for a School Clinician Certificate with Manitoba Education;
• Experience working with First Nations in the field of education;
• Familiarity with the Manitoba curriculum framework and strategies for implementation, and other support documents relating to Inclusive Education;
• Computer literate and proficient;
• Possess a valid Class 5 Drivers License

Duties:

• Provide consultation and conduct assessments of students from Oscar Lathlin Collegiate and Joe. A Ross School for the purpose of evidence-based diagnosis, education planning, and home recommendations to address social, emotional and academic concerns;
• Provide clinical and educational information at an appropriate level to school personnel and parent/caregivers that would assist them in developing a greater awareness of children with various learning needs and conditions, including referral to other specialists and physicians.
